Buffalo Chef Making Big Moves, Advances To Finals On Food Network Show
A Buffalo chef moved forward to the finals on a well-known Food Network competition show. He is a private chef for a few Buffalo Bills players and he has been featured on CBS Mornings. Chef Darian Bryan moved to Buffalo from Jamaica, which I'm sure was a culture and climate shock. But he hasn't let the differences stop him from becoming a well-known chef, not just in Western New York, but around the country.
He competed on one of my favorite Food Network shows, Chopped. Chef Bryan's episode aired on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 9 pm. While he didn't win, he did make it to the final round, the dessert round, and came in second.
Chef Bryan thanked all of his supporters on his Instagram page, writing,
Thanks to all my family, friends and supporters for cheering me on tonight, I appreciate y'all coming to the watch party, and those who took the time out to watch it at home. But most importantly to @foodnetwork for giving me the opportunity to complete.
Being on #chopped was the last thing on my goals list to cross off, and I just did it tonight. It's time to set new goals now. Who is with me? Thank y'all for the continued love and support. Much love
I definitely hope that the Food Network realized how much talent he has and will bring him back for other shows, or even give him his own show!
