Kevin Harvick is the second team member for Stewart-Haas racing to go through a car change this month. His teammate, Danica Patrick, recently got a new sponsor to replace her long time relationship with Go Daddy. Now, Harvick is going through a bit of a "re-branding."

According to ESPN.com,

Anheuser-Busch will change the branding on the car of the defending Sprint Cup champion from Budweiser to Busch starting in 2016, Stewart-Haas Racing confirmed Monday. Anheuser-Busch is the primary sponsor for 20 of the 38 races for Harvick.

Speaking as a recent college graduate, I can tell you that Busch beer needs a little more attention than the far superior "King of Beers." That has to be one of the reasons for the switch, but according to Anheuser-Busch vice president for consumer connections Lucas Herscovici, "The Busch brand is well positioned for this partnership given the brand's storied history with the sport." That is also very true. It will definitely be weird not seeing that red and white Bud car out on the track next year, especially since it's been the sponsor of a racer since 1983. It will be an interesting switch, but I am excited to see what the new car will look like.
