A small piece of glass was found in one of their products. According to ABC News it involves 4-oz. glass jars containing “Stage 2 Beech-Nut CLASSICS sweet potato & chicken” that were produced on Dec. 12, 2014.

The recalled product contains the establishment number “P-68A” inside the USDA mark of inspection and includes product numbers “12395750815” through “12395750821”.

Consumers with questions about the recall can contact the Beech-Nut Consumer Hotline at (866) 674-4446.

Here is the Face Book message from Beech~Nut:

We have initiated a voluntary recall pertaining only to certain jars of our Classics Stage 2 Sweet Potato & Chicken. This is following a single report of a small piece of glass found in one jar of the product. We have no indication that other jars have been affected, but as a company of parents and families we are acting with an abundance of caution. The company says consumers can return a recalled product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund or exchange.
