Are Drivers Getting More Aggressive?

Aggressive drivers, are you one of them.  Shame on you if you are.  I know the weather has been pretty nice here lately, knock on wood, but many drivers certainly are not being nice. 

Every day that I venture out onto the arterial, or Rt 49, I feel like I'm putting my life into serious risk.  I've been seriously thinking about installing a dash cam, but not sure how much good that will do.  I've even lived in a larger city, and I don't recall drivers being nearly as aggressive as they are around here.

You maybe heard that just last week, a pretty serious accident happened on River Road where someone failed to stop at the stop sign.  It's not that they didn't see the stop sign, it's because they are in so much of a hurry to get where they're going, that they are taking that extra step to get there even quicker.

Blame it on my upbringing, I guess, but I've always been one of those people that likes to get where I'm going early.  I start early so just in case there are any delays, I still arrive on time.  What's it called again?  Oh yeah, it's called planning ahead.

I hate to see what it will be like, when and if, we actually get some nasty weather.  And just wait until we add holiday parties and drinking into the mix. I predict some serious road rage incidents in the next couple of months.  Yikes.
