An Old School Remedy For “Potty Mouth”

A Florida man was arrested Tuesday evening after he took offense with his girlfriend's cursing during an argument and made good on a threat to wash her mouth out with soap.   The Tampa Bay Times reports  John Vincent Caruso had been verbally sparring with his baby mama, and grew concerned her cursing would wake the kids.  After warning her he'd wash her mouth out with soap for letting the expletives fly, he allegedly sneaked up behind her and squirted dish washing liquid in her mouth. Out of respect for his parents, he later told arresting officers, he squirted some in his own mouth for good measure.   Despite his Puritan intentions, Caruso was arrested and charged with domestic battery, and was thrown in jail
