A song that was supposed to be an anti war song.Donnie Iris was originaly with The Jaggerz who had the 1970 hit The Rapper. He later became a member of Wild Cherry who had the #1 hit Play That Funky Music in 1976. He formed a musical partnership with keyboard player Mark Avsec and to gether they wrote Ah Leah. A song that was supposed to be an anti war song turned out to be a love song.
