‘A Quiet Place: Part II’ Image Reveals New Sequel Details
A Quiet Place is coming back. John Krasinski's spine-tingling horror film returns with a new sequel, A Quiet Place: Part II. And keeping with its own theme, the comeback of A Quiet Place is happening nearly undetected. If you want to see the teaser trailer, you have to physically go to a movie theater. And not just any movie theater — the only way to see the exclusive teaser is in before Sophia Takal's slasher remake Black Christmas.
For those of you unwilling to make the trek, Paramount Pictures has attempted to tide fans over with a new still from the upcoming movie:
The image reveals one major detail that fans have been speculating over since news of the sequel hit — when will the movie take place? Will it be a direct continuation of A Quiet Place’s ending, or will a significant amount of time have passed? We now know from the photo that there will be no time-jump between movies, as Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott is still cradling her newborn baby. A Quiet Place: Part II will pick up right where the first one left off. Few details about the sequel’s plot have been revealed, but it has been confirmed that Cillian Murphy (Dunkirk) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy) have joined the cast as fellow survivors to the Abbott family.
A Quiet Place: Part II is slated to hit theaters March 20, 2020.
