Get ready to join the Utica Comets for the third annual 'Save of the Day Foundation Nights. This year,  the event will last more than just one game...

It will last three games - Starting this Wednesday, January 16th, all at the Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. You may remember the announcements for these games last year (and the year before), because the jerseys and equipment were a big deal. These games featured black jerseys with neon green and gray accents, and the best part was that the jerseys (and equipment) were given away in a raffle after the game.

This year will be a little different, but you'll still have a chance to score some unique Comets' gear and win some BIG money during the 50/50 raffle, all while helping out the "Save of the Day Foundation."

Because there are three games being included in this year's Save of the Day Foundation... Week, you'll have until the last game on Saturday (January 19th) to get your raffle ticket(s). Only 3,925 tickets will be sold, so if they sell out before then... Well, just don't wait to get your tickets if you want your chance to score an awesome black and neon green jersey, or a hockey stick that was actually used in the games. The Utica Comets' website, says raffle tickets are $20 each, and you can purchase your them with cash, credit card, or check.

And in case you're wondering, no, you don't have to be present to win. Although, who would want to miss the Comets sporting this unique neon equipment?!

We did mention earlier that you could win big with the 50/50 raffle during these games, too. According to the Utica Comet's website,

...beginning on January 16, the 50/50 will carry over for three games, concluding on Saturday, January 19, with the chance to generate a pot of over $20,000.

2017 was the first year the Utica Comets introduced these special jerseys and gear. The equipment was auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to the Save of the Day Foundation. Here's the video of the announcement from that year:
