
2 Hockey Players From New York Join Team USA Mens Hockey For 2018 Olympics
Two players that have strong hockey backgrounds will be playing for Team USA Men's Hockey in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. Both players come from New York State.
Brian Gionta From Rochester New York has been named the men's Hockey Team Captain. Brian also played for Team USA in 2006 and has played in 1006 regular season NHL games. Brian brings a wealth of experience to the Olympic games for Team USA Men's Hockey

Matt Gilroy from North Bellemore New York has played in 225 games in the NHL and will play for Team USA in Pyeongchang Olympic stadium South Korea.
