1st Of Many Wingstop's Now Open in CNY

There will be 8 Wingstop locations in CNY, and the first has just opened its doors on Genesee St.

Owners Tom Pierog, Joe Berry and Dawn Holmes have committed to opening a total of 8 Wingstops in CNY and are currently scouting for locations to open six more. The next Wingstop is scheduled to open in March 2019 in the current New Hartford Five Guys location as they'll be moving in the old Blockbuster building next to Panera Bread on Commercial Drive. The Five Guys eatery is also owned by Pierog, Berry, and Holmes.

Wingstop, headquartered out of Texas, features 11 flavors of made to order chicken wings ranked by a heat scale ranging from mild to atomic. If you're tight on time, your encouraged to skip the wait and order online or via Facebook, Alexa, or Twitter.

Cindy was invited to the Wingstop preview Tuesday 9-25-18 and was told by several new employees that they have no heat lamps, everything is made to order, they make homemade bread and fresh cut fries, the ranch and blue cheese dressing are made from scratch and they offer a freestyle Coke machine where you can create over 100 unique flavors.

Wingstop is open daily from11am-Midnight and is located at 90 N. Genesee St in Utica.
