Which Winless NFL Team Will Get a Win First? — Sports Survey of the Day
With Week 6 in the NFL underway, one eighth of the teams in the league are still without a win, each with a set of flaws that could lead to that trend continuing for the foreseeable future. But which of them will get a win first?
The New York Giants fell to 0-6 with a loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. They have the NFL's third worst scoring offense at 17.2 points per game and boast the league's worst scoring defense (34.8 ppg) and turnover margin (a jaw dropping -16).
In Pittsburgh, the Steelers have lost four games on two continents this season, giving the Minnesota Vikings their only win of the season in London. They are the only team in the NFL that has failed to force a turnover so far this year.
Tampa Bay has been an absolute circus since the preseason. Between quarterback Josh Freeman missing the team photo, to coach Greg Schiano allegedly rigging a vote to strip Freeman of his role as captain, to Freeman's benching and eventual release, it's been an even worse season than the Buccaneers' 0-4 record suggests.
Of course, no team has been as much of a punchline as the Jacksonville Jaguars this year. Their -112 point differential was the league's worst heading into Week 6 and they are tasked this week with taking on the 5-0 Denver Broncos, who scored as many points last week (51) as the Jags have scored all year. The 28-point spread in that game is tied for thelargest ever.
Between these four winless teams, who will get into the win column first?
