The New Sport Of Frockey
Some of the greatest advances in human history have been made by combining two seemingly unrelated ideas. Peanut butter and jelly, A blanket with sleeves, and now, we've just taken another quantum leap forward with the invention of the sport frockey.
Insurance salesman Bob Vidal dreamed up a sport that combines Ultimate Frisbee and ice hockey. Players move a flying disc into unmanned goal nets by throwing it or skating with it.
The rules are simple: no skating within 20 feet of the goal and no crossing the rink's blue lines with the disc in hand. Also no physical contact.
Vidal describes the game as, "a bit of a sport and a bit of a party," and hopes to spread Frockey around the country and the world.
