The Oneida County Department of Emergency Services is urging for residents in the Village of Whitesboro near the Sauquoit Creek to evacuate due to possible flooding.
The warm temperatures are causing some ice jams in Oneida, Herkimer, Otsego, and many other areas in Central New York. The National Weather Service says Utica, Rome, and Syracuse will experience flooding.
