A Russian journalist made good on a two-year-old promise to eat his words when a long-delayed public works project finally came to pass.  Vyacheslav Ledovsky, a writer for The Builder, bet his readers that city officials wouldn't start work on a fourth bridge over the Yenisei River before 2015. However, construction just started, and as a matter of principle, Ledovsky set up a webcam, snipped his article into little pieces, added a sour cream, and chowed down -- and posted his feat to YouTube. "Our country has no future unless we follow our promises," Ledovsky commented.
