A late night fire at the Travelodge Inn & Suites near the Albany International Airport in Latham, N.Y. Saturday forced some guests onto the roof of the hotel.  News 10 TV reports that one woman was hospitalized due to burns and smoke inhalation.

Most guests at the hotel were evacuated from their rooms, but some had to be recued from the building's roof.  The fire could be seen for miles and 12 Capital District fire companies were called in to battle the blaze.

The American Red Cross is helping the displaced Travelodge guests.  There is no known cause of the fire at this time.
