It's go #BlueForBen day and there's support from more than just Central New York. Raelynn and Big Vinny of Trailer Choir showed some love from Nashville while Mike Zawlewski of the Utica Comets had a special message for Ben Church, the Oneida boy bullied for walking on the wrong side of the street.

Zalewski invited Ben and his family to the Comets pre-season game October 9th where Ben will even get to ride the 'Hot-Rod' Zamboni at intermission and throw shirts out to the crows.

Ben, who is a 6th grader in Wampsville, needed stitches after three 8th graders ganged up on him on the way home from school. “One of them punched him in the face, then they stood and watched him bleed and cry before walking away. All because Ben would not walk on the other side of the road.," says Misty Church.

Misty says this behavior is “unacceptable” and they "just want to raise awareness and hopefully end bullying. But the support we've seen from all over the world is overwhelming."

Since Monday October 3rd is Blue Shirt Day for National Bullying Prevention and Awareness month we decided to #GoBlueForBen to help Misty and Ben with their effort to #StompOutBullying. Members of the United Against Bullying program even jumped on the go #BlueForBen, bandwagon.

A family friend is selling Stomp Out Bullying t-shirts to raise awareness. Get more details at TotalChaosDesigns.com.
