Rahn has played the guitar since he was ten years old. He took lessons for about seven years from Carmen Caramanica Music Instruction Studios in New Hartford, and he still plays today.

8th grade, 9th grade, yeah, I started doing local coffee house stuff when I had no business being on any sort of stage.

Rahn says in 8th grade he started playing in performing public. "8th grade, 9th grade, yeah, I started doing local coffee house stuff when I had no business being on any sort of stage."

Led Zepplin was Rahn's first inspiration as that's what his dad was playing when they went on ski trips. Today, although rock and roll is at the core, he writes country and folk songs.

His original tune is called Savannah and is based on a relationship that almost was. It was something that came to him in just a few minutes several days after the connection. Rahn's music by purchasing
