Look out parents, here comes yet another crazy crazy fad, and this one has generated warnings about its safety.  Check it out.

Remember those colored pencils you used in art class when you were a kid?  Well, some apparently are using these as eyeliner.  Crayola company has put out warnings about its potential dangers.

Here is what these folks are doing.  They are soaking the colored pencils in hot water and then using them to create a bright, bold eyeliner.  And, because the warning labels on the colored pencils indicate “non-toxic”, many are saying this is a safe practice.  The Crayola company wants to remind the public are not designed, tested, or approved to used as makeup.  Go figure.

"Although our products are non-toxic, we do not recommend using them to make lipstick, eyeliner, or other makeup, and strongly discourage their use in this manner," reads a company statement posted online.

What about your kids?  Would you let them do this?  What other crazy fad do your kids participate in?
