‘A Deadly Adoption’ With Will Ferrell And Kristen Wiig Premiers This Weekend

"A Deadly Adoption" is Inspired by a true story. It's a high-stakes dramatic thriller about a successful couple (Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig) who take in a pregnant woman (Jessica Lowndes) during the final months of her pregnancy with the hopes of adopting her unborn child. 

It will be difficult to take these two seriously. I just look at them and think SNL, Bridesmaids, Anchorman, Elf...The trailer plays it absolutely straight, but is this a serious movie? Will the joke be on us? Reminds me of "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle."

I suspect there's more to this than meets the eye. I can't tell if it's a parody or a real movie. Either way, I'll be watching Lifetime Saturday night at 8 pm.
