In the near future, we may not have to worry about setting the clocks back in the fall and ahead in the spring.

Ontario Canada just got one step closer to putting an end to changing clocks twice a year.

Here in the USA, we will be setting our clocks back on November 1st. After you enjoy a great night of Halloween fun, set your clocks back one hour.

It is important to remember to also check your smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector batteries. If nothing else, the bi-annual clock change helps as a reminder to keep the batteries fresh.

As a parent, the clock change is also rough on bedtime for little ones. When we set the clocks ahead in the spring and the days get longer, it is hard to get them to fall asleep at the usual time.
