It's another exciting night of racing at the Utica Rome Speedway.  Despite the clouds and cool temperatures, the weatherman says the rain should hold off.  In addition to the usual slate of races, the 'Late Model' Series makes their first appearance of the year.     Click for details.

A perfect weather night for a Mother's Day twin feature at Utica Rome Speedway.  A couple of track veterans found victory lane for the 1st time in some time.  With Willy Decker and Pat Ward taking the checkered flag in modifieds.  Click to see all the race results.

The 2014 season continues at The Utica Rome Speedway this weekend.  The 2nd weekend of racing will have a somber feel, as the speedway mourns the loss of longtime racer, Steve Hulsizer.

Here's one for all the Romans out there as this guy was one of your own... Richie Evans or "The "Rapid Roman" as he was later known started his career at the tender young age of 16 when he rapidly left the family farm in Westernville (like Luke Skywalker or Superman?) to become a mechanic at a service station in Rome.
