We have Matt Brewing Company, Utica Greens, riggies, half-moons, tomato pie and much more. Quite a few of these made the list.

I've never seen so many lead changes in a week-long contest before but I shouldn't be surprised as if there's one thing Uticans dig, it's food! After the dust settled this morning, Raspberries emerged victorious with just over 40% of the 11,300+ votes cast!

I was expecting Papa Joe to walk in, but turns out there is no Papa Joe, or rather he is in fact several people, two of which I met today: the owner, Bob Markeson and his head chef, Brian Strilka.

Our Thursday guest didn't seem old enough to be responsible for a whole restaurant but she now rules the family business with a sharp wit! Santina Digristina of La Roma's Pizzeria AND Restaurant dropped by earlier with some of her family's special recipe greens

Our first guest for the Best of Utica greens competition was Michele Lamandia of Raspberries Cafe and she rolled in with not just the plateful of greens that I expected, but four containers full of different types of greens that they offer
