The legendary space rock opera has been reissued for the first time in more than 30 years. UCR shares the story of how it happened.

"Everything is kind of clicking musically, the way it's supposed to go," Chris Robinson tells UCR, checking in from the band's ongoing Southern Hospitality outing with Whiskey Myers.

"Musically, we kind of knew what we didn't want to sound like," the bassist tells UCR, remembering the early days of the future punk legends.

Drummer and vocalist Gil Moore offers details regarding the cofounding bassist's ongoing absence from their current reunion tour.

The guitarist's longtime bandleader and director Rob Arthur, tells UCR about the new film.

"It was done in quite a human way," Ian Anderson tells UCR, describing how the group evolved during that decade.

It's the latest highlight of the band's current Southern Hospitality summer tour, which has also featured a number of special guests.

He tells UCR about the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins tour and why it was such a struggle to get the band's now-classic album to the fans.

The latest concerts join a recently revealed hits compilation that's on the way from the Bay Area rockers.
