New Hartford Police say a swatting threat involving reports of multiple bombs around the Oxford Road campus triggered a large law enforcement response at New Hartford Schools on Wednesday afternoon

It appears there has been another SWATting incident in Oneida County. This time it was in the Town of Kirkland and was under the guise of a 911 shots fired call on Furnace Street.

UPD says they've taken several of these 'swatting' type calls recently. The most recent incident involved a false claims at a city school.
