Super Bowl Sunday is always a big day but so is the other "big game" watched by millions. That is the Puppy Bowl. The 2022 Puppy Bowl features all dogs that are up for adoption and this year's big matchup includes 13 dogs from New York state. The adorable furry friends go head to head with Team Ruff taking on Team Fluff. The kickoff is at 2 pm on the Discovery Channel with a special Kitty Halftime Show.
The Puppy Bowl is an adoption extravaganza, and for the first time ever, Utica will be represented! 100% of the puppies and kittens that have participated in the Puppy Bowl have been adopted to loving families.
Alright all you dog lovers... While watching the biggest pigskin contest of the year, or even as an alternative, we are treated to other sights like the much anticipated line-up of hilarious (and not) commercials, but have you noticed a relative newcomer to Superbowl Sunday within the past decade?
The monarchs of cute over at Animal Planet started something genius a few years ago, and this year, they will continue their adorable tradition by bringing us Puppy Bowl VIII on February 5th. There’s another big game that day, but the true battle for the title of champ will be fought by man’s best friend. And probably more than one player named Champ.
If you haven't heard there will be no cheerleaders at this year's big game. BUT here's a different kind of eye candy for us to enjoy on Sunday the 6th, if you're not into the game.
