With 75 rides and a $50 million dollar upgrade,  August 25 to September 5 promises to be more thrilling than ever at the Great NYS Fair.

Two children on the Comet II roller coaster at the New York State Fair were injured when one of the cars stopped and the other didn't. WKTV reports the children are from New Hartford and Sauquoit.

It may seem like a long way off, but "The Great New York State Fair" in Syracuse is now accepting applications from bands in the state who want to play at the summer event.
