When Astronaut Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon 45 years ago, many of us who stayed up until two in the morning saw that first step and giant leap onto the moon's surface through snowy TV images. Apparently, TV viewers in Australia and New Zealand had better TV reception and saw much clearer pictures.

The 1960s were an exciting decade, especially if you were interested in space exploration as I was. On this day in 1969, Apollo 11 was launched on its journey for the first manned moon landing.

July 20th 2014 marks the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon. SyFy is celebrating by releasing an UFO alien conspiracy show dealing with a secret moon mission called Apollo 20, and alien bodies being recovered.

With the loss of an American Hero, Neil Armstrong, a lot of new stories are being released about the Apollo 11 mission. Of course everyone will always remember Apollo 11 for the first man to walk on the moon, but will it be remembered for UFO reports?
