Rome Walmart Employee Charged With Grand Larceny

A Rome man has been arrested following a report of an alleged employee theft at the Walmart in Rome.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office say while working at Walmart, 53-year old Edwin Gil took multiple items valued over $1,000.

Gil is charged with grand larceny.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear at Rome City Court on a later date.
