Beloved teen angst fest (and starting point for such big time talents as Claire Danes and Jared Leto) 'My So-Called Life' might have been cut short -- like, way short, the series was cancelled after only 19 episodes -- but that hasn't stopped it from enduring as a modern classic that kids still relate to (and, hey, adults do, too). The series turned twenty years old just a few weeks ago, and star Danes didn't let the day go by on unmarked. Well, sort of.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling over at Disney (we imagine it's many people, but just go with it) is going to be in a lot of trouble when they realize that they've put their next 'Star Wars' movie up against 'The Nest,' an adult comedy starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. How do you even compete with that? You don't. Just pack it up now, J.J. Abrams. You're going to lose this box office battle.

Like anyone who lived through the '90s, Jimmy Kimmel loved 'Friends,' but while being a fan of the television staple is wholly understandable, the depth of his affection is, well, perhaps not. Kimmel hosted 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston on his show last night, and while she might have expected to chat about her latest movie, 'Life of Crime,' and share some fun tidbits and anecdotes, the host had other ideas.

"Summertime! Summertime, people!" Sure, Bruce Willis. We can blame this on it being the summertime. The actor hit 'The Late Show' last night to ... honestly, we don't even know, but eventually it devolved into Willis eating corn on the cob harmonica-style and getting absolutely covered in melted butter. It seems that Willis is a huge fan of corn -- can't get enough of it! -- and he was eager to share some corn-centric life hacks with host David Letterman.

Looks like Mickey Rourke is down with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, because Seth Meyers did not skimp on the ice, the water, or the "bucket" on last night's 'Late Night.' Rourke appeared on the show to chat about next week's 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,' but things soon turned to more pressing concerns, like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that's been circulating lately...

Rumors of 'Bad Boys 3' have swirled for years -- the last we heard, it was looking for a writer, though there was no word if stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, and director Michael Bay would come back for another outing -- but it finally looks like things might be moving in the right direction. At least, if you think that Lawrence returning for more action is the right direction. (Hint: it is).

Earlier this month, 'Doctor Who' showrunner Steven Moffat teased a "big introduction" and a "dynamic" hour of television for the series' eighth season premiere, and nothing says "big" and "dynamic" quite like a giant viewing on a massive screen. The BBC has just announced that they are indeed going literal with Moffat's promise: the new season premiere will bow on a big screen near you.

If it's Saturday at Comic-Con, it's time for the big guns to come out, and Warner Bros. has done that with some serious style. The studio's panel opened with a big, bruising look at 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,' thanks to a new trailer (and more on that to come -- much more!), before director Zack Snyder trotted out stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot to greet their fans.

Family trees in the Marvel universe -- cinematic or purely comic book -- tend to be a little twisted. When it comes to James Gunn's upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' that's definitely still the case, thanks to a pair of adopted sisters that look poised to spend the film's runtime slowly moving away from each other and towards opposite ends of the personality spectrum, with plenty of hand-to-hand combat to keep things strange.

If you're jonesing for some Comic-Con action, but can't make it down to San Diego for the festivities, we've got just the ticket: a massive photo gallery that includes looks at what's happening on the floor, out in the crowd, even on the streets of SD. Comic-Con isn't just panels and trailers (and, yes, lots of waiting in line), it's a full experience that that has to be seen to be believed. If you can't really see it, this should suffice quite nicely.

College is a time of exploration, adventure and self-discovery. For some people, that means "doing drugs." Even your new best friend Jenny Slate, star of this summer's charming and daring 'Obvious Child,' turned to marijuana during her college years, and the results were pretty mixed, as she shared with Seth Meyers on last night's 'Late Night.'

Fairy tales may seem fun and whimsical and sweet now, but the histories of most of them are dark and truly terrifying. Perhaps you are familiar with Hans Christian Andersen, who penned the original 'Little Mermaid' fairy tale, one that ended, well, it just ended very differently than the Disney version. But Andersen wasn't the only author who used his fairy tales to freak kids out. Over in Germany
