In their latest attempt to put pressure on the New York State legislators to pass a ridesharing bill for upstate, Uber today released a brand new web ad.  It encourages residents of the state to tell their elected reps to say "yes" to Uber, and "no" to the special interests that are blocking Uber.

Governor Cuomo has introduced a proposal to allow the ridesharing services to operate in the upstate area.  Uber and it's competitor, Lyft are allowed in New York City, as well as in 47 other states.

The latest Uber ad suggests that bringing Uber to the region will boost the economy, reduce drunk driving, and make it easier for anyone to get from here to there.  The ad will be displayed online and across social media channels.
