A State Trooper vehicle was missing for several hours on Sunday after a woman drove off with it after being picked up on a burglary charge.   27-year-old Tierra Scott of Schoharie was captured Sunday night after ditching the police car.

State Police told the Albany Times Union that Scott was being transported at around noon Sunday by a trooper after being picked up in connection with a burglary.  When the officer left the car at the Sheriff's Office in Schoharie, the woman reportedly removed her restraint, jumped into the driver's seat, locked the doors and sped off.  The Trooper was dragged for a short distance and suffered minor injuries.

The abandoned cruiser was found shorty after 8 p.m. in Schoharie.  Scott was picked up soon after in a nearby wooded area after being spotted by a police helicopter.
