Just when we thought spring was finally here, it looks like Mother Nature may have other tricks up her sleeve. The National Weather Service out of Binghamton has issued a "Winter Weather Advisory". 

This advisory is in effect from 11PM this evening (Sunday) through 2PM Monday (4/4):

* LOCATIONS...MADISON, SOUTHERN ONEIDA, CHENANGO, OTSEGO, DELAWARE
AND SULLIVAN COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NEW YORK. NORTHERN WAYNE COUNTY
IN NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 6 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION LATE THIS EVENING. SNOW
WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES OVERNIGHT THEN DIMINISH TO SCATTERED SNOW
SHOWERS MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWER TO MIDDLE 20S.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remeber, a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, rain, sleet, or freezing rain can cause travel issues on the road. Roads can become slippery and limited visibility can be possible. Please use caution.
