Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Sleet And Freezing Rain

The National Weather Service out of Binghamton has issued a winter weather advisory from 4 am to 1 pm Tuesday, February 7. 

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

*LOCATIONS...Northern and Southern Oneida County, Otsego and Delaware Counties including Boonville, Rome and Utica.

*HAZARD TYPES...A wintry mix of light snow, sleet and freezing rain.

The freezing rain mix will overspread the area from South to North early Tuesday morning between 4 and 7 am. Temperatures will rise above freezing by early afternoon.

Be prepared for hazardous travel conditions including slippery conditions and limited visibility.
