Winners From The Preswick Glen Car Show [PHOTOS]

We had a great time at the Car Show at Preswick Glen in New Hartford Wednesday night (8/5/15).  There were over 120 cars on display - classic cars, vintage cars, muscle cars, and newer sports cars.  Central New York car people are serious about showing off their machines.  And the good weather meant everyone wanted to come out!  The smell of hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill helped too.  I saw a lot of familiar faces and cars from past shows, but I also noticed a lot of vehicles I haven't seen out on the road before.  All in all, it was definitely a highlight of this summer's car cruises.

We officially registered 93 cars on the lawn of Preswick Glen.  All the spectators were allowed to vote for a 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winner.  Here's how the "People's Choice" voting turned out:

 1st place - Thomas Scarafile - 1986 Jeep CJ7

Thomas is 18.  He built this essentially from scratch!  What 18 year old do you know that would skip getting a cell phone so he could build the car of his dreams to take to his senior ball?  Good job Thomas!  You are an inspiration to us all!

2nd Place - Dave Kardash - 1954 Jeep CJ3B

3rd Place - Steve Joswick - 1957 Ford Convertible
