This week for 'Wine a Little Wednesday,' with Don Cristi, we cross the Pacific ocean and head West for a very good Chardonnay, imported from New Zealand.

The Kim Crawford line was born in 1996 in a small house in Auckland, New Zealand. After 4 years the wine makers moved into a state of the art winery and began exporting to the United States. Today the Kim Crawford wines are number 1 in New Zealand.

If you have never tried wines from New Zealand you are in for a real treat. I urge you to try Kim Crawford Chardonnay as I think you will be very surprised, by both the product and the price.

I can say with out a doubt Kim Crawford is fast becoming my favorite white wine and  may be for you as well.
