This week for 'Wine a Little Wednesday,' we head north in California for a Merlot from Blackstone wineries California Merlot 2015 Wine.

Something we haven't done to this point is to talk about using an aerator to allow the wine to breathe before drinking. The second way to allow the wine to breathe for about an hour before you try a red wine. Do that by leaving the wine in a decanter to get the full flavor.

Blackstone Wine was founded in 1990 and their Merlot is rich in blackberry plum, and raspberry flavors with hints of vanilla. If you do not have an aerator currently I would highly suggest getting one they run about $25 dollars and make a difference in the taste of your red wines.

We're always on the lookout for gadgets that we can use at home, and my wife found one that you will see and say "why didn't I think of that?" If you run across any good gadgets let us know

Enjoy the video and drink Blackstone Merlot.
