This weeks 'Wine a Little Wednesday' is Columbia Crest Merlot, another gift from the great state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest's Columbia River Valley.

Almost always you'll be able to tell by the look on my face if the wine is really any good or I'm just being kind.

Located on the banks of the Columbia River in the Eastern part of Washington State, the winery opened its doors in 1983 but was busy perfecting the wines they wanted to bring to market.

The standards remain the same as they did when the winery released the first Red in 1988.

Columbia Crest remains as committed to the heritage of winemaking and growing grapes in the Washington Region of the Pacific Northwest as they did on the very first day of the growing season.

This is a great value for under $12.

Have a good week and drink Red.
