Fedor Patrakov/ThinkStock/TSM[/caption]It's no secret, winter is here to stay. With snow and cold temperatures across Central New York, bundle up. If you plan on heading up North to the Adirondacks, bundle up even more.

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation is expecting temperatures to reach between -15 degrees and -25 degrees on Wednesday, and temperatures are expected to drop even further Thursday. That's not even including the Wind Chill:

The temperatures will be even worse on high-mountain summits, the surface of water and other open areas. For example, the summit of Mt. Marcy will be -13 degrees Fahrenheit at mid-day Wednesday with winds reaching 32 mph and wind chill reaching -43 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Weather Service."

New York Upstate reminds you to take precautions to avoid hypothermia and frostbite.
