Three years ago was the implosion of the Fay Street Warehouse, part of the North-South Arterial construction project in Utica.
Sunday, March 2, 2014, was a big day here in Central New York. That was the day the Fay Street Warehouse was imploded. An evacuation plan was in place for a 500 ft. radius surrounding the building. All city streets within 1,000 feet of the demolition site were closed during the morning of the implosion.

Dave Bianchi, the lead contractor for the North-South Arterial project, was confident that everything would go according to plan. And he was right.
