When it comes to parking we usually just go for the closest spot possible, but you might want to rethink that at the NYS Fair this year.

Most of us are already doing what we can to help the victims in Texas due to 'Harvey,' but why do this to help them even more? If you're going to the NYS Fair choose to park in the American Red Cross lot on State Fair Boulevard. It's close to the main entrance of the NYS Fair, and the money collected from parking fees will go towards the Red Cross' disaster relief efforts including Harvey victims.

cnycentral.com reports that if 1,000 cars each day park at the Red Cross they'll earn about $10,000 per-day for the cause. They'll also accept and spare change you or the kids would like to donate.
