It turns out The Rome NY Blues Brothers are going somewhere. They tell us "Yes, we're going far far away to a strange, wonderful land." Don't worry, they're just expanding their horizons and will be performing a little further away from Rome than their name implies. Don and Nick tell Cindy "We are no longer the Rome NY Blues Brothers, we're here as the Blues Brothers but we've decided to take on a name change, we're going to expand, we're going to branch out, we are now The Blues Brothers Of CNY."
The NYS Fair wants us back every-day next year!
They're expanding! After their annual walk through at the NYS Fair, The Shamrock on the midway hired them. Through that gig, they now have a promoter out of the Rochester/Syracuse area that would like to hire them, have booked shows in Liverpool, West Lyden, Old Forge, and they say "The NYS Fair wants us back every-day next year!"
The expansion is good news following the loss of their iconic 'Blues Brothers' vehicle to the July floods in CNY. A GoFundMe has been launched to help replace it. If they reach their goal of $4000.00, the perfect replacement vehicle is waiting for them in Binghamton. They tell us "It's already painted, it looks like the Bluesmobile it has memorabilia in it, this car has the headliner, it's plastered with pictures of the movie and this guy saw our post about the flood and the GoFundMe post, and he messaged us."
