Have you seen the Mannequin Challenge all over your social media news feeds? What exactly is it, and how can you take part in it?

All over New York, the Mannequin Challenge is taking over.  According to CNN, the #MannequinChallenge requires groups of participants to assume a dramatic pose (could be anything) and make it seem you're a mannequin in a store. Most post the hip hop song from Rae Sremmurd's called "Black Beatles" in the background of the video they post.

The first known appearance of the #MannequinChallenge surfaced on Twitter in late October. It's believed to have been created by high school students at the Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then, it has taken over the internet the past weekend.

So get a group of your friends and take a video of your best Mannequin pose.
