There's a new free exhibit at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute. It's called "Sam Van Aken: A Hole in the Sky." The exhibit features many 10-foot weather balloons stacked on top of each other in the middle of the MWPAI Edward W. Root Sculpture Court. It is definitely an interesting thing to see.

When you go, my recommendation is to go to the top floor of the museum first, and look at the exhibit. Looking at the sea of weather balloons is an interesting sight. It's hard to believe that the court that displayed statues is now full of weather balloons. After you are done looking, go down to the second floor and look at the balloons at ground level. They are gigantic.

Overall, the "Sam Van Aken: A Hole in the Sky" exhibit is well worth the visit. The exhibit continues through February 23, 2014. Click here for more information about the exhibit.
