You don’t have to be in the south to watch Hurricane Isaac roll in.  There is a website with several live webcams set up in New Orleans, you can watch on.

Southern Louisiana is being slammed by high winds and torrential rain as the storm cmnade landfall early this morning with 80 mph winds.

Isaac brought with it enough water to overtop an eight-foot levee overnight in Plaquemines Parish.

At least 500,000 customers in Louisiana are without power.

President Obama has declared states of emergency in the coastal areas of Louisiana and Mississippi.

The Category One storm is slamming the region exactly seven years after Hurricane Katrina.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the people who will be affected by this storm.  May everyone come out of it unscathed.

Several people have already posted pictures on Twitter of the incoming Hurricane.  Laura Zimmerman who works at one of our stations shared photos sent to her by friends and family on the coast.
