Troop D, MARCY
Wanted for grand larceny 3rd degree
EARL BACKELL is wanted by the New York State Police on an arrest warrant issued May 24, 2017, from Westmoreland Town Court. Backell is alleged to have taken a $14,000 deposit for construction work to have been completed in the Town of Westmoreland and did not begin any work or order any materials for the construction project.

Wanted for criminal impersonation 2nd degree
TRAVIS M. FLETCHER is currently wanted by the New York State Police in Sidney on a Bench Warrant after failing to appear in court on the charge of Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree. His Bench Warrant was issued by the Town of Guilford Court on May 23, 2017. FLETCHER was originally arrested after giving a false name and date of birth to keep from being identified and arrested on a prior charge.

Wanted for driving while intoxicated
THOMAS LATHAM is wanted by the New York State Police on a bench warrant for Driving While Intoxicated. On August 18, 2013, Latham was traveling on the New York State Thruway when he was stopped by State Police. During the course of the Trooper's investigation, it was determined that Latham was intoxicated.

Wanted for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd degree
Michael Umansky, age 38, is wanted on a City of Rochester Arrest Warrant for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree. Umansky was arrested after a traffic stop in the City of Rochester.

Wanted for criminal impersonation 2nd degree
Darren A. Berghela is wanted on a Bench Warrant issued in January 2017 from the City of Rensselaer Court for failure to pay a fine after he was arrested in July 2015 on the above charge. During a traffic stop, he impersonated his brother to avoid arrest as his own license was suspended. He also has warrants from the Woodbury PD, Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Schenectady PD and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Wanted for criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree, harassment 2nd degree, assault 3rd degree
Carl T. Sturner was arrested following a physical domestic incident. Sturner assaulted the victim, causing injuries, and was arrested for the above listed charges. A Bench Warrant was issued for his arrest from the Town of Coxsackie after he failed to return to court to answer the charges.

MOHAMED RAHMAN

Wanted for fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, reckless driving, traffic violations
Mohamed Rahman is wanted by the New York State Police and Nassau County First District Court for the above charges. In February of 2017, Rahman would not pull over for troopers on the Wantagh State Parkway and was later arrested for the above charges. He was operating a black Cadillac at the time of his arrest. The defendant’s last known address is in Jamaica, NY.

Wanted for robbery 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree
MATTHEW BLIZARD is wanted by the New York State Police and the Town of Wappinger Court following a robbery investigation conducted in May of 2017. Blizard used a blunt object as a weapon during an incident where he and another suspect attempted to steal merchandise from a store. Blizard fled prior to police arriving on scene. On May 16, 2017, a warrant was issued ordering Blizard’s arrest.

Douglas L. Corrow is wanted by the New York State Police and the Clinton County Court for failure to appear following his arrest on November 17, 2016, for burglary. Corrow was initially released under the Clinton County Pre-Trial release and failed to reappear for sentencing.
