A few years back I played a show with Foreigner's drummer (somehow?) who afterwards handed me tickets to see the band at the NYS Fair the next day, and lemme tell ya, hearing 'I Wanna Know What Love Is' with a full choir from 6th row center was surreal to say the least! Well, Foreigner is coming back to town at the end of this coming month and one local choir from my alma mater, J.D. George is in the running to give you those same goosebumps onstage with the band! My music teacher there is long gone, but I remember how much crap I gave her in class and am pretty sure that I spent more time in the office than I did in her four walls! Thankfully I got my act together (sorta) and she has since come out to see me play and as fate would have it I became a music teacher too (KARMA!) Kudos to the incumbent music teacher in Verona, Minda Feldmann for organizing a GIGANTIC elementary choir and putting them out there, whether or not they sing with Foreigner! I've taught choirs that size and it is NOT easy! Anyway, Contact her here to see how you can help send her kids to the big stage!

And for personal posterity, here's a shot of my brush a couple of years ago with the most energetic drummer (Foreigner or otherwise) that I've EVER jammed with...
