Boilermaker Schmoilermaker – Who’s Going To The Utica Mighty Run?

Of course we've had the Boilermaker for decades, but have you heard of the Mighty Run? This is anything BUT a straightforward road race and is more reminiscent of a wilderness boot camp than anything else! Also unlike the Boilermaker, this is a team event as every runner is part of a pair and many of the obstacles you encounter will require teamwork with your partner to pass. Obstacles you say?

Yeah, like mud crawling, monkey bars, river running, cargo nets, water slides, lumberjack runs, barricades and more surprises (glance at the map!) The adventure race is in September on the grounds of the Masonic Home and if you wanna look pretty then this is NOT the race for you! You don't have to be an olympic athlete to take part, or an athlete at all and there's even one for kids!
