Utica Curling Club Offers Free Tryouts

Some call it "chess on ice," some the "hottest sport on ice" but those who play it, call curling a great night out and good way to meet new people.  Again this year, The Utica Curling Club offers you a chance to check out the sport and all it's fun, for free.

The Utica Curling Club 8300 Clark Mills Road in Whitesboro will hold free sessions this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (10/10 thru 10/12) at 7:30. You don't even need equipment, just a clean pair of sneakers.  The club even offers clinics and a new member/guest night that let's you get the full experience of a match for a small price before you go in full bore.  And it comes with snacks and dinner, how can it be wrong?  Get more details here.
