The Comets lost a close one in overtime falling to the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Adirondack Bank Center in overtime 4 - 3.

Cole Schneider netted the game's first goal at the 8:15 mark of the first period. Adam Tambellini extended the lead to 2-0 just two minutes later. Zack MacEwen got the Comets back to within one at the 13:20 mark of the first period. Zack MacEwen struck again four minutes later to tie the game at two and finish out the first period.

Adam Chapie regained the lead for Hartford with 5:33 to go in the second period.

Reid Boucher tied the game with a power-play goal with 39 seconds left in regulation.

Cole Schneider scored the game-winning goal with 2:40 remaining in overtime.

The Comets set an AHL record going 100 regular games sold out. The Comets return to action Friday night on the road to battle the Binghamton Devils, the puck drops at 7:05 p.m. at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
