Utica Comets Fall To Syracuse Crunch

Utica Comets fall to the Crunch 3-2 in a shootout. In spite of the loss, Utica extends their point streak to 13 games.

Verhaeghe struck the team's first goal just two minutes into the game, Dominik Masin followed suit extending the lead to 2-0 five minutes later for the Crunch.

Dziurzyzski brought the Comets to within one with 7:16 remaining in the second period.

Wiercioch tied the game at 1:19 into the third period, that score remained static for the rest of the game and sent the game into a shootout.

Jamie McBain netted the only goal in the seventh round of the shootout to seal the fate of the Comets

The Comets take to the ice Friday hosting the Binghamton Devils. the puck drops st the Adirondack Bank Center at 7 pm

Vancouver has called up several players recently and the team continues to win in spite of the changes in the lineup.
